Anker Solix C800 Review
Fun times at Portable Power Geek HQ as we go full steam ahead on another product analysis; under the microscope today is an Anker Solix C800 Review.
It’s another new one, released in 2024, and it somehow manages to be even faster charging than the one that blew our socks off recently with it’s blazing fast charging speed, that was the Bluetti AC50B.
That’s despite having bigger capacity and being capable of more power.
We’ll discuss in this article the C800’s charactersistics and features, and how well or otherwise those features translate to meeting your needs when you actually use the power station.
If you want to check the price before we get going, here’s where to see that, at Anker UK.
Read on for the full review.
What aspects did we use to rate the Anker C800 generator?
We rated it for:
- Does the power delivery meet its billing?
- Speed of charging
- How many life cycles it’s rated for (and it’s likelihood to reach that many)
- How many devices and electronics items it can provide power for at once
- Value for money

Rating the Anker Solix C800
We dive deep into this Anker portable power station, what were the pros and cons in our analysis.
Anker Solix C800
Strengths of this model:

The fastest charging we’ve seen to date, overtaking the Bluetti AC50B
You can fully charge it to 100% in just 58 minutes using a special mode in the App. Our experience of power station was for many years with the old Lithium ion batteries. These new portable power stations with LiFePO4 batteries are really blowing our minds – they seem to be getting twice as fast and powerful every year.

Comes with a market-busting warranty period
Anker really back their products, and the C800 is no different, coming with a 5 year warranty. Battery generators of this size are an investment, and many people will value a longer warranty period very highly. And, as we always point out here at portablepowergeek.co.uk, it’s a sign the manufacturer has a lot of confidence to back up the quality of their products.

One of the only two makers that offer their power station with Wifi connecitvity, as well as Bluetooth.
One of very few makers who can match EcoFlow by having an App, with connections via both Wifi and Bluetooth. This is something that people asked us about for many years: is there a power station that you can connect to by Wifi. They said they like having the App but being able to connect by Wifi would be far superior to Bluetooth. Well, the Solix C800 provides that.

Good value
At the time of writing (November 2024), it’s the lowest cost of all power stations in the 700-999Wh capacity range, despite being the newest and in some ways, the highest spec model.
Weaknesses of this generator:

Its maximum power is a fair bit short of one competing product
Competes in a similar price bracket with the EcoFlow River 2 Pro, which has fully 400W higher power.

It’s relatively heavy
The Solix C800 is nearly 3kg heavier than the River 2 Pro, and 2.5kg heavier than the Grecel T1000.

Only allows a middling amount of solar charge
At 300W max solar panels, when compared to its equivalently-sized models, is mode than the EcoFlow River 2 Pro, and Vtoman Jump 1500X (which have a 200W max) but less than the Aferiy P110 and Vtoman FlashSpeed 1000 (which have a 400W and 500W max, respectively).
Where can you get it?
See it at Anker UK (which, typically of portable power station makers, has an improved component package when you buy direct) right here.
Anker Solix C800 Review Summary
We’ll call it a day on our Anker C800 Review there.
We hereby crown it the new king of fast-charging – to 100% in less than one hour is almost unfathomable to us. It’s backed by a warranty of 5 years – which, by the way, is fully 3 years more than its direct rivals.
Weaknesses? It has a few. Another direct rival, the River 2 Pro has a not-inconsiderable 400W more maximum power; and another direct rival, the Aferiy P110 can charge 200W more from solar panel power.

All the best with your decision on the C800.
