While many power stations have some of these advantages, the Delta 2 may be the only one with them all.
❌ no UPS function. That’s the one major feature offered by many newer power stations (and FYI the Delta 2 is also quite new, launched in 2023) that the Delta 2 does not have. But we reckon it’s one of the less important major features, for most people ❌ clutching at straws, perhaps, but despite having a high quality, up-to-date BMS, we do believe the newest Jackery battery generators have a superior BMS within.

This is EcoFlow’s much-vaunted behemoth..
✅ the sheer size makes a genuine off-grid lifestyle a reality for you ✅although a charging time to 100% of 1.7 hours (1 hr 40 mins, to us humans) is slower than many other power stations, it’s still a heck of a fast time to fill such a monster-sized battery to the brim✅ideal for big solar panel systems. It’s not that the maximum size of 2900W is more than competing portable power stations, it absolutely dwarfs them. ❌the 3 years standard warranty is less than the typical 5 years EcoFlow offer on their smaller portable generators (though you can register for a warranty extension, bringing it up to 5 years ❌are we allowed to be disappointed that there are only 4 AC power ports? It’s matched by several much smaller competitors. Well, we are, slightly.

Aferiy’s EcoFlow challenger, and a worthy one at that.
✅fully £500 (approximately) less expensive than the EcoFlow Delta Pro ✅… and 5kg lighter ✅as we said about the Delta Pro, it’s size makes it a real possibility to go off-grid for an extended period of time. If there’s enough sunshine, could we even suggest indefinitely? ✅that warranty. 7 years is exceptional for this type of product, and shows Aferiy’s confidence. ✅we were impressed by EcoFlow’s 1600W solar input, but this Aferiy P310 can handle 2000W of solar panel power.
❌no App to control it. Is that really necessary? No, it’s certainly not an essential feature, but most would say it’s a nice thing to have ❌Aferiy is a brand with growing reputation, that can be seen by their excellent online reviews on major marketplaces, across all their generators. But EcoFlow is still the more vaunted and highly-reputed brand for the quality of their products

✅ their first true UPS (as defined by EcoFlow). Previous EcoFlow products have been termed EPS (Emergency Power Supply with less than 20ms switchover). The Delta Pro 3 has true less than 10ms switchover term, and they’re calling it UPS, able to preserve data on NAS systems and servers✅expected life cycles of 4000 cycles is 500 more than almost every other portable power station on the market (and FYI EcoFlow tend to be accurate and not overstate this type of thing).✅4000W power makes this the most behemothy of all the behemoths.

Verdict:
