Aferiy Power Station Review
Welcome to our Aferiy Power Station Review, where we’ll be checking out a brand of portable power stations that have emerged in recent years as a genuine pretender to the throne of the likes of Bluetti, Jackery and EcoFlow.
There’s plenty to like, and a flaw or two you’ll want to be aware of before making your purchase decision.
We’ll be reviewing all of Aferiy’s models of solar generator, and comparing them with the alternatives.
So no matter what your capacity and power needs are, you’ll know what your best option is.
Here’s the lowest-priced deal for the Aferiy, directly from the makers themselves, right here.
And without further ado, let’s get stuck into the review!

TLDR Box
Pros and Cons:

Excellent value; particularly given the good quality high-density lithium cells, and overall build quality.

Very lightweight, compared to similarly sized solar generators.

Strong and consistent sustained power delivery.

Faster UPS switchover time, at 10ms, than the vast majority of competitor products.

Rated life-cycles is good, but not up to some of Bluetti’s latest models.

Like most models of Aferiy portable power station, is relatively slow to charge.
Price of the Aferiy compared to the rest of the UK portable power station market:

Aferiy 2400W Generator Review
What were the best aspects of the Aferiy generator:

Excellent value
We’ll go on to discuss specific areas of geniuine high performance and quality, but for now let’s say that the Aferiy portable power station matches the top models in many key aspects, and exceeds them in several. That it does so at significantly lower cost tells you that this is a great value product. Previous versions of this product didn’t have an App but Aferiy added an App to this latest version, upgraded some features, and still kept the same low cost; we’re impressed.

It’s very lightweight
At 22kg, it’s lighter than the other 2kWh, 2400W models on the market, including the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max, and is more than 6kg lighter than the Bluetti AC200L, in fact. Why? Well, the P210 has very high density lithium cells, that can pack a ton of power into a smaller space, compared to other generators.

Strong, consistent power output
This model really delivers on its power, matching the bigger boys for sustained power delivery. That’s another strength that is largely due to the top quality lithium cells that Aferiy use in their portable power stations.

Plenty of charging ports
Thirteen charging ports is excellent, and makes it one of the best solar generators on the market for charging versatility and breadth of options. That’s 4 ports more than the new Bluetti Elite 200 V2, and 7 more than the Jackery Explorer 2000 V2. Three AC ports is great, and 4 USB-C ports means you can probably charge all your electronic devices at the same time. Great when you get back to the van after a day out and everyone wants their phone charged! One less thing to argue about…

Super-fast UPS switchover time
The vast majority of solar generators offer 20ms switchover time, but Aferiy’s power stations can do it in just 10 milliseconds. That’s not relevant to everyone, but if a fast UPS is one of your reasons for purchase, then this model will meet your needs.
Cons and possible reasons why this model may not be what you need:

Life cycles is good but not great
Its rated for 3500+ life cycles, to 85% capacity. And that’s enough to last for many years, perhaps as much as 10 years, depending on your usage. But the new Bluetti Elite 200V2 smashes it, being rated for 6000+ cycles.

A little slow to charge
It takes around 2 hours to get to 100% charge. Which is not bad, but some of its competitors, with similar capacity and power, will get you there in as little as 1 hour 20 mins.

That’s it for our AF-P210 (2400W) review, now we’ll evaluate the other models of Aferiy power stations.
Pros:
this is the portable power station with the highest number of ports on the market, with an enormous 14 charging ports.
sustained power delivery is as consistent as the AF-P210 we reviewed above, just at the higher power level, peaking 3600W.
spectacular value, compared to other 3600+ Watt power stations. At the time of writing, it’s nearly £600 cheaper than the Bluetti Apex 300, and over £1500 less than the EcoFlow Delta Pro 3.
Cons:
Solar charge capabilities are poorer than the competition. A 2000W maximum solar panel connection is good, but the Delta Pro 3 allows a 2600W max, while the Apex 300, by Bluetti allows a 2400W Maximum.
Like the 2400W model, its slower to get to a full charge than many of its competitors.

Pros and aspects in common with the P210:
same capacity as the AF-P210, but with 400W more peak power.
superb 1200W Maximum solar panel charge; that’s 700W more solar charge compared to the the P210 model.
with upgraded lithium cells, it’s rated for over 4000 cycles.
expandable up to 10.24kWh system, with up to 4 additional batteries
Cons:
At the time of writing, it’s around £120 more costly than the P210 model. But it’s still the lowest-cost way to get a 2800W power station of high-end quality.
Even at 4000+ life cycles, that’s still 2000 less than the Bluetti Elite 300 (although it must be said the Bluetti model is much more expensive).
Check price, it’s this model on Aferiy UK.
Pros and aspects in common with the P210 model:
As is often the case with Aferiy power stations, it’s the best price for a generator of this size and quality.
typically excellent 10ms UPS switchover time.
ideal for charging multiple electronics products; this is the only power station of its size with 3 USB-C charging ports.
you can get a maximum of 200W solar charge, that matches or exceeds every other solar generator of its category.
Cons and aspects different to the P210:
There’s no App to help you control the unit, and select charging modes, check battery capacity and so on. Apps are less common in relatively small solar generators like this one, but the 700W Bluetti AC50B has an App, and so does the 1000W EcoFlow River 2 Max.
Not quite as light as some other Aferiy models, at 6.25kg. The aforementioned, River 2 Max, for example, is lighter and is more powerful, at 1000W.

Aferiy Portable Power Station Review Summary
That’s just about it for our Aferiy Power Station Review.
Hope it helps shed some light on these generators; their strengths and weaknesses compared to other brands. As well as how the different models vary from each other.
The headline product of the review was the 2400W model, the P210. It’s their top seller and the one that most seems to have hit a chord with customers.
The Aferiy brand represents great value; unlike some budget portable power stations, it has the quality of lithium cells and material quality to just about keep up with the bigger brands (see Bluetti and Jackery compared), just at, sometimes, considerably lower cost.
And due to the high density lithium cells, Aferiy have been able to produce solar generators that have as much capacity and power as competitors, but are a fair bit lighter than pretty much all of them.
Our biggest bugbear is that they can be quite slow to charge, and they can’t match the exceptional number of life cycles achievable by the latest Bluetti models.
The lowest-cost seller is Aferiy UK, right here.
And same for the:
- P310 model (3600W)
- P280 model (2800W)
- P010 model (800W)
Good luck with your buying decision!
