Bluetti vs Jackery
While performing our research, pooling our combined knowledge from our many years involved in portable power stations, and gathering our thoughts, we thought we’d check out how many people need to know the answer to the question of Bluetti vs Jackery.
And so, here’s what Google trends told us:
Data source: Google Trends (https://www.google.com/trends).
It gives an indication of the growing status of both companies, the popularity of portable power stations in general, and, perhaps, greater congruence in the sizes and specifications of the two company’s models.
Let’s now dig deep into both companies and compare the brands and their products.

Rating Bluetti vs Jackery Portable Power Stations
Brand Reputation
Firstly, just in case you’re new to the area of portable power stations, these are two of the most well-established makers, perhaps even the pinnacle (only, arguably, EcoFlow might have something to say about that!).
Just because something is popular doesn’t make it good. But it gives us some information about brand strength. We generally want to buy from an established brand, which probably couldn’t have reached a high brand status (in this modern era of such ease of access to reviews and company information) if it didn’t have a quality product and good enough customer service.

The takeaway from these numbers?
Jackery and Bluetti are at quite similar levels of brand status. Both are clearly well-established brands with a large worldwide following, and a sizeable UK following. Bluetti has more Facebook followers but Jackery has a greater Instagram following.
Bluetti has one significant advantage, however. And it doesn’t just show brand strength, it could be important to your buying decision.
And that is that they have a membership club, called the Bluetti Portable Power Station Club, with a Facebook group for members.
Having an open Facebook membership group, as Bluetti does, is great for accountability. If you’re a customer and you’re having any issues, you can post in that group.
Bluetti, as with any company, want to keep a strong reputation for both their products and customer satisfaction. Having such an open, public forum for product issues means they have a very strong incentive to keep you happy and resolve any issues that crop up.
Customer Reviews & Feedback
There’s quite a big difference between the top portable power station makers and the less well-known makers, in terms of customer feedback. The less well-known makers get quite a mixed bag in terms of feedback.
Both Jackery and Bluetti, however, are in the category of top makers. That means they get overwhelmingly positive reviews; in fact, for an electronic product, they can be considered exceptionally well-reviewed.
Both companies have a Top Brand rating from Amazon. That’s because Jackery as a brand has 95% rating from 1k+ customers, while Bluetti has a 92% rating from 200+ customers. Both companies have had over 1k recent orders.
We collated the reviews across their power stations that are sold the most in the UK, which encompasses a variety of their sizes and models.
| Category | Bluetti | Jackery |
|---|---|---|
| Total UK Reviews | 330 | 308 |
| 5-star Reviews in the UK | 263 | 252 |

As you can see, both companies have an excellent overall rating, with very similar numbers of reviews and ratings.
However, this data doesn’t give a full picture since several of these models are quite new, and therefore don’t have a ton of feedback.
So, we at Portable Power Geek delved into our records and found the data for older models as well. This should give us a more complete picture of the feedback, giving us a greater idea of the product quality and customer satisfaction for both companies.
| Category | Bluetti | Jackery |

| UK Reviews (historic products) | 284 | 16,309 |
| 5-star Reviews | 210 | 13,202 |

This data shows us that Jackery have the far greater sales history, at least in the UK.
They made two of the top selling portable power stations of all time in the UK, the Jackery Explorer 300 Plus (garnering 6,733 5-star reviews, out of 8,015 reviews) and the Jackery Explorer 500, contributing 6469 5-star reviews, out of 8,294 reviews.
The Bluetti EB3A and EB55 models also sold well and received very high ratings from UK customers. But quite a long way behind Jackery’s top models.
Bluetti, then, are something of the slightly newer kid on the block, but if you check out the numbers from recent years, they’ve caught up and are very close to Jackery at this point.
Remember the graph from Google trends showing that searches for “Bluetti vs Jackery” have increased hugely? That’s an indicator of Bluetti coming to the fore in the portable power station market, alongside Jackery.
Product Head to Head Comparison
Let’s now compare some of the Bluetti power stations with the equivalent Jackery model.
Of course, we want to compare apples with apples; and pears with pears. So we’ll choose the most equivalent models of each brand. But makers don’t always make models at the same few capacities and maximum power supply. So we’ll choose to compare models which have the same maximum power, or close enough that you’re likely to be choosing between them.
Bluetti AC50B vs. Jackery Explorer 500 v2
The AC50B has a higher maximum power, of 700W compared to the Explorer 500 V2’s 500W. But it has a lower capacity, and weighs more.
Additionally, the Jackery power station, at 6000 cycles, is rated for double that of the Bluetti model.
Why?
It’s testament to it being newer, released in September 2025, compared to the AC50B, which came out in July 2024. It’s only a year and a half difference but it means Jackery could exploit the latest lithium cells with much better power density.

Bluetti vs Jackery Summary
That was Bluetti vs Jackery. Hope it helped with your comparison between these 2 power station makers.
They’re certainly at least two out of the top 3 brands of portable power station, if not the top 2 (that’s a matter of opinion, though!).
Both makers have a very strong reputation for quality and outstanding feedback from customers on online marketplaces.
Jackery have a longer sales history in the UK, you may even have purchased their Explorer 300 or Explorer 500, two of the most popular generators ever. But Bluetti have certainly caught up in recent years. We showed some data indicating that.
Bluetti tend to offer a longer warranty, 5 years as standard, while Jackery offer a standard 3 years, with the possibility of adding 2 additional years.
The decision, ultimately, is yours. Good luck with it!
