Rating the Elite 100 V2

Here are the pros and cons of this Bluetti power station.

Bluetti Elite 100 V2

The pros:

Very handy ability to power higher wattage appliances, that other 1kWh units cannot come close to matching
That’s with Bluetti’s briliant Lifting Power mode. It really does work. Your kettle may boil slower than with a more powerful generator but it gets the job done in the end.

Fantastic value for money
The Elite 100 V2 was released in 2025 and uses very advanced lithium cells and BMS. That means there’s far superior power density in the cells of the battery than the vast majority of power stations on the market. It means that while other units can match it for the maximum power it can reach, they can’t sustain it as well as this Bluetti model, and then there’s longevity. It’s rated for 4000+ cycles. That’s 500 to 1000 more than its competitors. Why? You’ve guessed it: the superior lithium cells. Whatever power station you decide on, we recommend you look into the manufacturer and the date of release (check out our Excel download, available from our home page for this!). If it’s a top brand and its release date is recent, you’re getting much better lithium cells than other models can possible offer.

It’s now overtaken the EcoFlow Delta 2 for your best option for solar panel charging
You can charge it with solar panels up to 1000W. Now, that’s simply huge for a power station of the size. In fact, it’s at least two times as much as any other portable generator of its size. That’s due to some impressive technical advancements in Bluetti’s latest models, and particularly the bang up-to-date lithium cells. They can take on board bigger chunks of charge than the lithium batteries of any other brand’s power stations.

Great all-around feature package
Check out the whole package of features offered by this model and there are few that can even come close, even at bigger sizes and at higher price points. Its 5 charging options (AC, Solar, Car charging, Generator, AC+Solar combined) is unmatched until you get to units that are more than double the price. Add to that an easy-to-use App, that has Wifi (as well as the standard Bluetooth). It’s also got faster switchover UPS, 10ms compared to the 20ms of other brands.

The weak points of this generator:

Not enough ports
This is the “familiar bugbear” of Bluetti portable power stations that we mentioned in the introduction. There’s a total of 9 ports, and that’s a fairly poor showing compared to its main competitor, the EcoFlow Delta 2, which has 13 ports (check out our Delta 2 review). And that EcoFlow power station has 4 AC ports, compared to just 2 for the Elite 100 V2.

Not *that* light
It’s really nice and compact. It’s genuinely, and comfortably, the smallest 1kWh portable power station on the market, as Bluetti claim. But are we asking too much to want it to be lighter than it is. It’s 11.5kg, and that’s not bad. It’s lighter than most competitors, but for such a new model, with the newest lithium cells, we were hoping for it to be lighter. The Jackery Explorer 1000V2, which is Jackery’s 1kWh model, is a fair bit lighter, at 10.8kg. If that’s very important for your needs, check out that one.

Bluetti Elite 100 V2 Review Summary

Thanks for reading our Bluetti Elite 100V2 Review.

Top quality and bang-up-to-date lithium cells make it your best option for reliable, high power output. And, combined with the typical Bluetti high quality of components, advanced BMS and overall build quality, you’ve got a great chance of getting many, many years of use from it.

You can also charge it with double the amount of solar panel power than any other model of its size.

With a great all-around package, even aside from these strengths, we reckon it represents excellent value for money.

That said, we’d have liked it it to be lighter. And we’re quite disappointed with the relative scarcity of ports compared to the EcoFlow Delta 2, which abounds with them.
