They’re a low-cost brand but their products are well-made, and while they can’t compete at the top of the market, in this review we found them to be the best of the low-to-middle price bracket.
We’ll talk about their pros and cons, which areas stack up well compared to other models of the same size, and which do not.
We’ll also look at the differences between the different models, so you know exactly which one will meet your needs.

Great value, when you consider that it matches the top brands in the most important features.
One hour to full charge is very impressive charging speed.

Surprisingly heavy, especially given that Allpower’s previous models have been lightweight.
The units are chunkier than you’d ideally want.

Allpowers R1500 Lite Generator Review
Here are the pros, and who would need an Allpowers portable power station:
Great for solar charging
We’re impressed with the 650W Max. solar charging. That means you can get more power through solar panels than almost any other power station of this size. In fact, there are power stations that are much bigger that don’t offer as much, and those cost two times the amount, or even more.
Great value
It’s not just that the R1500 Lite is lower cost than competitor model; it is, and by anywhere from 10-30% cheaper. It’s that this model manages to be cheaper but still outshines these more expensive models. The Allpowers power stations go toe-to-toe in multiple areas, and even better those models in a few ways.
Hyper-fast charging
Fully charge to 100% in one hour. That’s just spectacularly fast. Only the Anker Solix C1000 can match it for speed of charging. Why is this Allpowers power station so fast to charge? Because it’s a new breed, released in July 2025, that has the latest version of lithium cells. They have higher power density and are faster to charge. Note that this extremely fast charging is only available on a special mode, selected on the mode. Normal charging speed to 100% is 1.5 hours.
Likely to last well
We expect the R1500 Lite to last well, as long as you treat it right. Build quality is very good for it’s price point, and the lithium cells quality likewise. It’s rated for 4000+ cycles, and of portable power stations of its size, only the new Bluettu Elite 100V2 and the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 can match it.
An App with Wifi and Bluetooth
Now, it’s true to say that most solar generators released in the last 2 years have an App you can use to operate it, and select special modes (like Allpowers’ hyper-fast charging mode). But some Apps can only be operated with Bluetooth. The Allpowers App works with both wifi and Bluetooth, and it works well. That’s impressive given the low cost of this model.
Cons and why you may want to look elsewhere:
Ironically, it’s quite heavy
Why is that ironic? Well, it is called the R1500 LITE, after all. It’s 15kg, and that’s fully 3.5kg (or 30%) heavier than the Bluetti Elite 100V2 (1800W), also a 1kWh power station.
It takes up a relatively high volume
The Allpowers R1500 Lite has a volume of just over 34k cubic centimetres, while the 1500W Jackery Explorer 1000 v2, for example has a volume of just under 22k cubic centimetres. That makes it nearly 56% larger than that Jackery model.

Allpowers R600 (600W) Review
Pros:
Like its big brother, the R1500 Lite, the R600 is great value compared to similar size models, from 10% to as much as 35% less costly.
Another model that offers hyper-fast charging, getting to 100% full charge in only 1 hour.
solar charge max of 220W is excellent. No other competitor model of this size can match that. In fact, you’d have to get much bigger models of power station, like the EcoFlow’s 1000W River 2 Max, or 1600W River 2 Pro to get as much solar charge (they also allow a 220W maximum charge).
Cons:
The App works with Bluetooth only, we’d have liked to be able to connect with wifi (like the Jackery Explorer 300 Plus).

Allpowers R2500 (2500W) Review
Pros and aspects in common with the R1500 Lite:
It’s heavy, at 27kg. That’s 5kg heavier than the Aferiy P210 (2400W), a similarly sized 2kWh power station.
The app works well, and you can connect with both Bluetooth and wifi.
13 ports are available to power your appliances and charge your devices, including 4 AC ports. Many other generators only offer 2 or AC power ports, so we’re impressed.
Matches the much more expensive brands in all key areas (like the App quality/connectivity, solar compatibility and maximum wattage, ability to deliver high power levels consistently) and does so at lower cost.
Cons:
No expansion options are available. The bigger brands offer the ability to grow in size, with additional batteries. That’s simply not possible with the Allpowers power stations.
It’s mid-range for weight, but is chunky compared to other competitor products.

Allpowers S2000 Pro (2400W) Review
Pros and aspects in common with the R1500 Lite model:
Very lightweight; in fact, it’s a massive 15.3kg lighter than the Bluetti AC200L . And it’s 10kg lighter than another 2400W power station, the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max.
Yet again, superb solar panel options, allowing for a maximum 1000W solar charge.
11 charging ports is great, including 4 AC ports.
Smaller capacity than competitor 2400W power stations. Many of them are 2kWh. However, bear in mind that that comes with additional weight and cost. If you need a 2400W power station, and you can accept it will run out of juice faster than your other options, this is the one for you.
Cons and aspects different to the R1500 Lite:
The battery inside is not LiFePO4. Instead, it’s another type of lithium-ion, NCM (which is Nickel, Cobalt and Manganese), also called ternary lithium. This is an older type of lithium-ion. It has good power density but poorer durability and thermal stability.
Rated for a relatively low number of life cycles, only 2500+. It’s still last 5 years plus, but some modern models could last 10 years or more. Why is it lower? Due to the use of the older type of lithium cells, as mentioned above.

Your main takeaway is probably going to be that most Allpowers model, especially the main model reviewed, the R1500 Lite, are a match for the bigger brands in pretty much all key aspects, at sometimes considerably lower prices.
That is good build quality, modern, long-lasting lithium cells meaning they have fast-charging and a long lifespan.
They are beaten by some newer Bluetti and Jackery models, in terms of weight and longevity.
And bear in mind that the older models, which have model names typically starting with S, like the S2000 Pro, use an older type of lithium cells, NCM, which don’t have the durability and stability that lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells have.
